One thing is certain: We are now writing and creating all of LinkedIn’s future job postings. These seven sci-fi-themed LinkedIn job postings could provide a sneak preview of how brands and companies will be advancing innovative, person-centered design in the future.
In a recent analysis, Cognizant envisioned in-depth job listings for 21 future professions that it predicts will grow over the next ten years. The Jobs of the Future 2030 is a series of papers that the Cognizant Centre for Future Work has released over the last several years. It imagines the future positions that will emerge in the next ten years and puts them into focus for organizations and people throughout the world. There is little question that technology will play a significant role in both the creation of many new occupations in the years to come and the elimination of others.
Digitization and automation Over the next decades, A will continue to advance, and the need for people to do those tasks will further decline. Any job that fits these criteria—or even daily activities we engage in—will be mechanized more and more.
There will be a huge number of VR employment in many different industries when VR ultimately becomes the thing that we have all anticipated. The industry has experienced a significant shift, and the vocation will play a significant role in the future employment landscape. Traditional occupations won’t disappear; rather, they’ll get a digital makeover, and digital seamstresses are just that.
Experts will be required as drones develop in order to build, maintain, and—possibly the most thrilling job of all—fly them. To acquire and manage the fleet of drones used by the business, experts must set and enforce rules. To boost productivity and efficiency, HR departments will need to become experts at managing remote employees while using chatbot technology, data analytics, and HR software.
The greater use of data and market research across numerous sectors will be the main driver of job development. Jobs in the STEM fields, business, law, management of the arts and creative industries, software development, nursing, and marketing are among the other professions expected to see employment growth during the next ten years. These 11 examples of potential future occupations show how the current trends may develop over the next several decades, even if it is impossible to predict what the future will bring.
